We were sad to learn to that one of Harlem’s favorite eateries is down for the count. We held out hope that Mojo would be able to get their act together and come back on the scene stronger than ever, but last week we found out that Mojo was gone for good. The New York Post reports that the owners of a popular French bistro will open a new place in Harlem named Cedric at 185 St. Nicholas Avenue. The article reports that French bistro, Le Bilboquet will be moving on up from the Upper East side. Cedric is expected to open in June (in synch with the forthcoming Harlem Tavern.)
The general manager, a resident of Harlem, wants the restaurant to be for the locals. Like its predecessor, Cedric will serve dinner during the week and brunch on the weekends. There will also be live entertainment.
