Rendezvous with Henry at The Shrine

Dear Harlem and Harlem Visitors:

Remember a couple of weeks ago when I told you to go see Nakia Henry perform at Billie’s Black? A lot of you listened. Good job. For the rest of you… yeah, I’m talking to you… rectify the situation tonight by heading over to Shrine World Music Venue [2271 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd, between 133rd & 134th Streets] tonight as Injoy Enterprises presents The Rendezvous featuring… Nakia Henry.

I was at the Billie’s Black show – which was an acoustic set – and Henry’s presence filled the room. It’s a space I attend regularly, and have seen dozens of artists perform there. Nakia Henry brought a very organic vibe to the place that the entire crowd loved. The show at Shrine will be with a full band, so even those of you who came out to her previous show will be getting a completely different version.

The event is to celebrate the launch of Feel free to click that link now.

Also, feel free to click this link to learn about her Twitter campaign to get Erykah Badu’s attention – and for a free download of her newest song.

The show goes from 7 – 11 PM. The show will also feature other underground artists Kashan Fields, Chelsea Lynn and Undeniable.
