Saturday, May 22, 2010

8:30 p.m.10:30 p.m.

This event repeats every week on Saturday between 3/20/2010 and 12/25/2010.

Telescopes will be available for your use or bring your own. For more information and weather updates, visit the Inwood Astronomy Project.

As the days grow longer, start times for astronomy programs are later.  Please keep checking as we adjust program schedules to allow for these changes.

Astronomy programs are clear-sky dependent. Call the Inwood Astronomy Project Hotline for updates at (917) 529-2359.  Please check times because schedules will change as the season progresses and days get longer.

Limited accessibility due to some lawn areas.

We also offer Stargazing programs in Fort Tryon Park second Wednesday of every month.

Coming soon – Inwwod Astronomy Project has purchased a new telescope Obsession 15 CU Telescope.  It will be one of the largest amateur telescope available for regular free viewing in the 5 boroughs.  Stay tuned for news of its arrival and when you can try it.
