Donations Requested For Elombe Brath

Pan-African activist and historian Elombe Brath has suffered a stroke and his family is requesting donations to help pay for his medical care. Listed below is information that was forwarded from Brath’s colleagues. For more information about Elombe Brath click here.

The family needs at least $10,000 to do all that is necessary.

    Elombe has reached that time in life where he has our love, respect and Love for his relentless efforts, humanity and struggle for our rights and liberation. His credibility and legasy shall remain embedded in our spirits and consciousness as a role model. We will continue to support him as our Tribal Elder.

    We are saddened by the illness of the brother who has been a warrior for our community here and aborad for decades. Let us try to do this by ourselves and for our own. Peace.

    My heart goes out to this unconditional soldier, teacher in the war for African Liberation at home and abroad.It is sad that provisions are not made by the community to care for our leaders as they reach golden years.
