Shop N Mingle ’09

With amenities that include an open bar, gratis barber services for the fellas, complimentary beauty makeovers for the ladies and dessert tastings by local pastry chefs Shop N Mingle promises to take shopping to a whole new level.  Shop N Mingle showcases a stellar group of menswear and womenswear designers offering great merchandise at recession friendly prices. “I’m of the opinion that fashion and shopping should be about more than selling products,” states Ngozi Odita, Shop N Mingle producer and Creative Director of Society HAE.  “Fashion and shopping should be about engaging and creating a memorable experiences for your customers and Shop N Mingle does just that.”

Shop N Mingle attendees can peruse the offerings of 20 local fashion, accessory, jewelry, beauty and home décor brands.  Featured brands include Harriet’s Alter Ego, a collection of African and vintage inspired apparel for women, The Peralta Project; limted edition t-shirts and accessories for men, Laidback; a line of pop culture inspired home décor items; Trubutter; all natural body care products and Pedigree Sneaker Gallery; customized, rare and vintage sneakers for men.

This years festivities take place on Saturday, December 5th from 1pm to 7pm at the 8,000 sq ft gallery space of the National Black Theater located at 2031 Fifth Avenue (Btw 125th & 126th Streets) in Harlem, New York.   Event highlights include rotating DJ Sets by Jasmine Solano, The Ahficionados and DJ T.Elle.  Attendees who make a purchase will also receive a coveted Shop N Mingle swag bag courtesy of corporate sponsors.
