After months of waiting and wondering, Le Meilleur Du Monde Cafe has finally opened for business on 5th Avenue near 125th Street.
While some readers are still lamenting the loss of neighborhood favorite Boma Cafe, which was located just up the block, others will celebrate the return of a cafe to an area that is sorely lacking easily accessible caffine. Unfortunately, Le Meilleur Du Monde only offers take out service so residents will have to continue to wait for a nice sit down cafe to arrive.

Forget Starbucks! Le Meilleur Du Monde serves GREAT coffee, fresh pastries baked on premises, even homemade ice cream for those whose waistlines can stand it. Terrific addition to the neighborhood.
