I’ve received so much positive feedback about Globe Trippin, a new cafe located on Amsterdam Avenue, that I had to finally get the word out. I was waiting until I could make the trek up there, but with all the rain and time constraints who knows when they will be. We first caught word of this cafe when Gabe mentioned it a couple of months ago. Since then I’ve had at least three other people tell me I have to write a post about them. So here it is.
I just wanted to send in a tip… there’s a cafe on Amsterdam between 144 and 143 called Globetrippin’… the owner (Georgia) makes all the baked goods right in the store. I had a whoopie pie there that was amazing!
Have you guys tasted the desserts in this little spot on Amsterdam in the 140s it’s on the right side if you go uptown, next to an Ecuadorian restaurant and another internet type spot (Dollar Internet Cafe). They have some crazzzzzy desserts – MARGARITA TART! They have like 5 desserts w/liquor in it.

Thanks for putting this up!
I know the website says those hours of operation, but it also says they opened last fall when they actually didn’t open until January… so I am not sure how accurate it is.
The flier I have for them says they are open noon – 8 PM every day except Monday.
