Congratulations Harlem, you’ve done your pets proud! A shout-out goes to all the residents who attended the ASPCA’s inaugural Mobile Spay/Neuter Clinic Block Party this past Saturday at Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. Plaza. Thanks to the hundreds of people who attended, we spayed/neutered over 100 pets, with appointments to help 250 more! Not only will your care and concern have a dramatic effect on New York City’s homeless pet population, but you have given your pet the gift of a longer, healthier life.
A special round of applause to all you owners of pit bulls and pit bull mixes. As one of the most frequent breeds to enter the city shelter, your support demonstrates that pit bulls are loved! We hope you’ll spread the word that pit bulls are always welcome at our mobile clinics, and all spay/neuter surgery, along with vaccinations and microchipping, is free to those pit bulls who visit the clinic in any of New York’s five boroughs. For more information, visitwww.aspca.org/877spaynyc or call 1-877-SPAY-NYC.Many thanks to all of you who made our event a resounding success. We couldn’t have done it without you!
Sincerely,
The ASPCA Mobile Spay/Neuter Clinics
