Strive, is an advocacy group located in East Harlem that is dedicated to helping job seekers get a fresh start. Financed by New York State and contributions from private foundations, Strive has been flooded in recent months with people seeking jobs.

Strive officials have added a lesson in how to cover up conspicuous tattoos with makeup. A makeup artist, Melanie Swanson, volunteered to give a tutorial in camouflaging the distracting skin art at a job readiness workshop at an office building on East 123rd Street on Tuesday afternoon.
