Sons Rising Entertainment and the Last Poets present:
Special Screening of the Documentary: Made In Amerikkka-Reuniting The Last Poets along with Live Performance by The Last Poets featuring Special Guest Artists.
The Last Poets are back at the Schomburg Center for an extraordinary event. On behalf of Sons Rising Entertainment and The Last Poets we’d like to personally extend to you all an invitation to a special screening of a documentary film entitled Made in Amerikkka- Reuniting The Last Poets created by French film maker Claude Santiago.
Made in Amerikkka captures the Last Poets in their element where the narrative unfolds amidst the backdrop of a special 40th Anniversary show in France where 5 of the 7 remaining living members of the group are reunited for a one-time performance for the ages. The video run time is 50 minutes. Shortly following the film, the group has planned a live performance featuring group members Abiodun Oyewole, Umar Bin Hassan, Felipe Luciano and master drummer Don Babatunde.
Tickets: $20
