New Italian restaurant ‘Trattoria Amici’ on Lenox between 129th and 130th, featuring Italian staples such as Fettuccini Alfredo, Baked Ziti, Veal Parmesan and much more. The food is prepared to order and is excellent, the service friendly and efficient, the décor clean, warm with a lot of seating space and most importantly the price is right. Trattoria Amici is located in the now displaced pizza party buffet in the Lenox Grand Condo next door to the new wine shop. There is no liquor license as yet so bring your own bottle from the convenient Lenox wines next door. There are plans for sidewalk dining so I see this as the beginning of Lenox Ave’s wonderful wide sidewalks utilized for dining al fresco. With Lenox Ave now home to Chez Lucienne, Settepani and now Trattoria Amici, Lenox Ave has its bases loaded.
