Broadway Comes to Harlem

bcth_webnewJust in time for the holidays, Broadway is coming uptown to The Harlem School of the Arts in the form of Broadway Comes to Harlem, a joyous celebration of Broadway hits that will showcase the talents of HSA’s theater, music, dance and visual arts students. Audiences will experience Broadway excerpts from Hairspray; Kiss Me Kate, Once on This Island and Rent as the children revisit the traditions of holidays past through song and dance and a mystery found in their attic. Directed by E. Mesiyah McGinnis, produced by HSA’s Theater Director Jody Prusan and written by Harlem-based playwright and HSA faculty member Shaun Neblett.
