Want to think outside the box when it comes to gift giving this holiday holiday-boxseason?  Why not purchase a tax deductible membership to one of the wonderful cultural institutions in Harlem?  It’s the gift that keeps on giving all year long since each time the recipient presents his or her membership card they will think of you!

Studio Museum offers a range of membership choices that are as low as $50 a year for an individual and $75 a year for a family. Privileges include free admission to the Studio Museum, a one-year subscription to Studio magazine, invitations to exhibition opening receptions, discounts on purchases, and more.  For more information visit Studio Museum.

Schomburg memberships start at $35  a year for an associate members.  Privileges include a year’s subscription to the center’s newsletter, a discount on purchases, a quarterly calendar, and discounts on sponsored programs. For more information visit the Schomburg.

Apollo Theatre also offers memberships.  If you are a Harlem resident you can sign up as a neighbor for $50 a year. Harlem Stage has members that start at $50 or ($35 for seniors) and $75 for family memberships.  Benefits include discounts on tickets to performances, no handling fees on tickets purchased through the box office, annual member appreciation events, subscription to the newsletter, and priority email notification of upcoming events.
