lnacThe LNAC is forming a Friends of the LeRoy Neiman Art Center. This is  an advisory council consisting of individuals from the arts, art education, not-for-profit, corporate and academic fields who are willing and able to help the LNAC fulfill its mission–to strengthen the community through the arts. Friends are being asked to make a monetary donation, give a little of their time, and advise  the organization.

The first official friends meeting is tomorrow night (Tues, the 9th) from 6:30 to 8pm at the LNAC. Even if you’re not ready to commit, you can still come to meet those who have and get some information on what being a friend would entail.

The LNAC is located at 2785 Frederick Douglass Blvd (near 148th); office: 212-862-2787; cell: (917)817-2957;  clayton@artshorizons.org.

Take the A train to 145th and St Nicholas or the 3 train to 148th and Adam Clayton Powell.
