Harlem Kids Get to Play for the Prez

You should know by now that we LOVE the feel good stories about Harlem over here on UPTOWNflavor.  Well here is a wonderful story about Harlem kids who will travel to Washington, DC next month to play for the new president during his inauguration ceremony.  Harlem kids have all kinds of flavor!

Young violinists from three Harlem elementary schools will be fiddling for the new First Family at the Children’s Inauguration Ball in the nation’s capital next month.

The 26 musicians from Central Park East I and II and River East will play for Barack Obama, his family and invited dignitaries two days before the Jan. 20 inauguration.
