Harlem Tea Room closed earlier this year. Seems the places going strong are on 8th Avenue down in the one teens and creeping up to the one twenties.

Dang. I really miss that place. They made the best tuna melt ever! I wondering what she’s doing now? Harlem really needs small eat places. I’m so tired of eating friend chicken, Pizzeria 123 and Caribbean food…and at these real estate prices we really should have more food options.
Love Society Coffee and the Harlem Tea Room but what about quick foods like Take out Thai, Indian, Crepes, and the all mighty Mexican. I live in the center of Harlem and I have to go to 108th and Amsterdam to eat Harry’s Burrito.
A shame.

I met Donna at the opening of Covo…she was a pleasure to speak with. I wish I had been able to experience Home Sweet Harlem!
