At least one Harlem eatery was able to avoid the ire of the taxman. According to today’s New York Daily News Windows Over Harlem, located in the State Building, was in arrears “to the tune of $120,000.”
Enforcement officers with the state Department of Taxation and Finance marched into the eatery on West 125th Street, prepared to slap a padlock on the door.
After several hours of negotiation with the restaurant owners, officials agreed to allow it to remain open after the owners handed over a sizable check. -Source: NYDN

I was just hoping that by paying a large sum of money to the tax man, that it would not affect his ability to continue his radio show show which he pays for the airtime along with the help of listener subscribers.
His wife owns the restaurant and I believe he runs it and is co-owner

I don’t get the connection between the restaurant and the radio show, but I do hope he can stay on top of his taxes. They are really cracking down of people and we all need to try to stay on our “A” game.
