Here are links to some of the items we have been following recently:
- Remember when when we asked about the Harlem Piers? Harlem Hybrid has an update.
- Remember when we said that Harlem was going to suffer a direct hit from the crash of Wall Street? The New York Times hammers the point home.
- Remember when we said you should try to attend the Open Artist Studio Tour this past weekend? Here is a follow up on Blackbook.
- As an aside, I popped into Progressive Unlimited the other day and was saddened to learn that they will not be in their location much longer. P.U. is the little hole in the wall store with all kinds of great clothes, home accessories, jewelry, artwork, and more. There is always a well-fed friendly cat lazing around. If you are a customer, go by and wish them luck in finding a new home. If you are in real estate perhaps you can help them find another space for their store. I would love for them to occupy the still vacant space that formerly housed the sorely missed Sugarhill Java and Tea Lounge.
