On June 10th, the Marcus Garvey Park will host an all day tribute to the legacy of the Jamaican-born Marcus Garvey - the influential political leader and one of the strongest voices of black empowerment in 1920s Harlem. Both educational and social, this event aims to encapsule the spirit of community and family, while paying homage to this significant figure in our nation’s history.
