2nd Annual Rapathon

The Hip Hop Culture Center in Harlem will be holding auditions for its second annual Rapathon.  The Rapathon is an attempt to make it into the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest ongoing rap marathon.

Auditions will be held at The Magic Johnson Theater on April 8th, 14th,  18th and 21st between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The competition is open to people of all ages.  Must be able to rap continuously for 90 seconds without cursing.

Last year’s rapathon lasted for 24 hours and included 117 lyricists. This year’s attempt to top last year will take place on May 3rd and also will include an attempt to stage New York’s biggest Electric Slide competition  on 124th between Frederick Douglass Blvd. and St. Nicholas Ave. For more information contact Natassia Seward @ (212) 234-7171.
