Very interesting article by the Columbia spectator on Harlem culture vs. gentrification, highlighting how people can share a building but not a neighborhood, so true. My suggestion to new Harlem residents is to get involved in the local community and learn what a special place Harlem is. To live in a new Harlem luxury condo and reject your surroundings is such a waste. I suspect many new Harlem luxury condo dwellers wish to maintain their anonymous lifestyle like most of downtown Manhattan, again, they are missing so much.

The ” Garbage” train cargo travels from Oak Point in the Bronx, up to Albany where it is rerouted to different states for use as landfill for Parks and Construction Projects.
It take 8 hours from the Bronx to Albany at 5 to 10 Mph.
