My Choices, My Values, My Life A new play that helps bridge the gap
between children and their parents
Written and Directed by E. Mesiyah McGinnis
Hip-Hop Choreography by Keith Anthony Lewis
A series of vignettes, monologues and poems that together examine the questions and choices young people often face in life, will be presented by the Harlem School of the Arts’ Bridge Ensemble (theater students ranging in age from 9-13.) The content of the play bridges the gap between children and their parents in dealing with issues deemed sensitive and not easily discussed, as well as adults’ role in parenting and mentorship.
Featuring a special performance by HSA Hip-Hop Dance Students.
