Do you know what you’ll be doing for your last night of 2007 or your first day of 2008? Well, below are some sites with a few ideas. Also, check out your local religious institutions to find some uplifting ways to bring in the new year.
- New York Magazine has a guide that offers everything from midnight concerts to 10 course meals to brunch on New Year’s Day.
- The Village Voice has a few ideas for how to spend your New Year’s Eve, including hanging out at Lenox Lounge.
- Many museums will be open on New Year’s Eve and some will even be open on New Year’s Day. MOMA and the New York Historical Society will both be open
- I know being in better physical condition is on the top of a lot of New Year’s resolutions lists, so check out the Harlem YMCA. On January 5th they are having an open house and if you join between now and Feb 4th, there’s no joining fee. You will still have monthly dues of course though.
