Andrew Young has turned out to be a real idiot in my book, a key figure in the Black Old Guard, very disappointing, as most of the Black Old Guard is.
Young illustrates why the average age of the NAACP is 46 I believe? Young people don’t give a F about the NACCP, by and large, this is inarguable, the stats illustrate that is a valid and accurate statement. The NAACP is not very relevant to young Black people and totally out of step, and they, those old fools despise anyone who is not impressed with them.
They are their own club, what’s his name resigned because he noted their board cannot be worked with, they are too many of them (64 or so), and it’s basically a small club of has beens, has beens like Andrew Young.
I saddens me to say that, but it’s true, it’s seen in Harlem. Charles Rangel is part of the buffoonary that is the Black old guard. Anyone notice how Barack Obama comes to Harlem and no Black Harlem leaders are there to greet him at the Apollo. Cornell West is not a NYC figure, the Harlem Black politicians (Rangel, Inez Dickenson, K Wright, those clowns) have Rangel marching orders to support the machine, Hillary.
Andrew Young & the NAACP and the Black Old Guard are jealous of Barack Obama. Why? Barack is solid, the real thing on any standard. He need not get on his knee and kiss Jesse’s ass, A Young’s ass, Rangel’s ass, etc. The Black Old Guard can’t stand that hence like Andrew Young has done, works to marginalize and diminish Barack in whatever way they can.
The Black Old Guard demands a process and respect to them, that’s why their clowns, not relevant to young people, and a dying organization. I’m Black, most of my friends are as well, all hold at least 1 Ivy degree, all do well professionally, I know no one who is a member of the NAACP.
There is no Black leadership, they’re Clowns like Andrew Young? The reason why. If anyone tries to tell you otherwise, examine the membership of the NAACP, average age, poorly organized board. Want your mind blown? Learn how few of the Black Ivy League under and grad school grads of the past 25 years have any interest in the NAACP.
