Harlem Textile Works (HTW) is a 30-year-old non-profit organization that is devoted to teaching minority youth skills such as screen printing, textile design and marketing strategies. In collaboration with alternative schools, HTW offers courses free-of-charge to students ages 14-20 years old during the school day. The students receive academic credit and there is a rolling admissions process. Adults can sign up for Saturday classes which cost $100 for a three-session course.
