Harlem – All Out!
FREE the JENA 6!
Wednesday, September 12
125th & Adam Clayton Powell 4 – 7 PM
(Hook up and fan out all along 125th.)
The Harlem Revolution Club is calling on you to join the fight to free the J6. By September 12th everybody in Harlem, has to know about the ugly, vicious injustice that is unfolding in Jena, Louisiana! Hundreds of people need to read the September 9th issue of Revolution newspaper, tens of thousands of people need to see this flier. The case needs to be discussed in the high schools, colleges, churches, social organizations, barber shops, the projects, and everywhere people gather.
(If you can run off 100, 500, or five thousand fliers- do it! And, get in touch with us right away so we can get some from you.)
Mychal Bell, one of the J6, is being sentenced on September 20th. The Harlem Revolution Club is renting a bus to go to Jena for the sentencing. We will ride into Jena with your banners and statements. We will represent the strength and support of the people of Harlem. The Revolution Club is asking you to get on the bus- go with us to Jena! And, contribute money to help rent the bus.
The people who run this whole twisted system want to see this criminal attack on Black people go down and for us to say nothing- and do nothing. The Revolution Club is determined that it ain’t going down like that. It’s time we start flipping the script. Millions of people need to be in their face- and stay there until the charges against the J6 are dropped. And every mf involved in their persecution apologizes!
On September 12th thousands of people in Harlem have to join tens of thousands across the country to demand that the J6 be freed! Wear orange ribbons- put Free the Jena 6 posters in windows- find the ways to say Harlem stands firmly with the Jena 6 and against the racist system that is so eager to make an example of them. Meet at 125 th and Adam Clayton Powell Avenue from 4pm until 7pm Wednesday. Leave from there to represent at every intersection on 125th from Lenox to Broadway. Bring banners, posters, placards or your own statement. And bring your determination to have many, many, many people join in on the spot. Let’s send a powerful message from here to the people standing against white supremacy in Jena- HARLEM’S GOT YOUR BACK!

Who we are. The Harlem Revolution Club is made up of people who strongly believe humanity is capable of something so much better than this warped, dog eat dog, murderously exploitive society. We believe humanity can get to a place where there is no more white supremacy, or one group lording over another any where on the planet. A new kind of society – communism. To get there humanity needs revolution. And, there will be no chance to make a revolution if we don’t fight against and actually beat back outrages like the Jena 6. What we do now has everything to do with having a real chance to make revolution. Will our side be strengthened or will the oppressors be strengthened by its attempt to railroad the Jena 6? We fight to strengthen the people and weaken the system, all in preparation for getting rid of this whole setup when it becomes possible to do that. As part of making this happen we read, study, and spread Revolution newspaper- and “Revolution” the film talk by Bob Avakian, chairman of the RCP. Everyone who wants to learn more about Communism and Revolution should check us out.

The 12th was great. These are the only people on the street every Saturday and who are finally doing something about the Jena 6!
The paper they sell is pretty damn good too…
Stay strong.

I’ll be there, but if I see no other Black people in attendance, I’ll be walking right by it.
By the way, why doesn’t this article include a link to the online petition that almost a quarter million people have signed? Sounds fishy to me.
Anyway, here it is: http://www.petitiononline.com/aZ51CqmR/petition.html
