Dance Theatre of Harlem will present its Annual Street Festival 2007 on Saturday, August 11th at 12:00-7:00 p.m., on Dance Theatre of Harlem Way, West 152nd Street, between Amsterdam and St. Nicholas Avenues.
Dance Theatre of Harlem’s Street Festival has become an important and eagerly anticipated community event. As in previous years, the Festival will include arts & crafts, food and merchandise vendors, health screenings, a fashion show, and a Harlem’s Got Talent competition. This year’s entertainment will take place on an outdoor stage and includes students from the Dance Theatre of Harlem School’s Masters and Mentors Summer Intensive program. Special guests include Los Hermanos Morenos, IMPACT Repertory Theatre, Langston Hughes House Youth Ensemble, The Hip Hop Magician, and more. Music will be provided by DJ Andrea Clarke, Sister from Another Planet WBAI 99.5 FM.
