If you’ve ever been through the 110th and Lexington subway station, you might have seen some of Manny Vega’s mosaic creations. His artwork is not only underground, but in museums, on Broadway, and on the sides of multi-story buildings. Vega, a New York native, has inspirations in places as close as East Harlem, as far away as Brazil. This versatile artist’s mosaics, watercolors, and works on paper will be showcased at Straight Out of Harlem Creative Outlet on Saturday, July 28 from 3:00-7:00 p.m.
