Time: 12 NOON TO 9:00 PM
Gathering place: 112th Street and Malcolm X Blvd (Lenox ave) in Harlem, New York
Parade route: From 112th Street go up Malcolm X Blvd to 116th Street. Turn left on 116th Street (Little Africa) and go all the way across to Morningside Ave. Make a left on Morningside Ave. Walk down to 114th Street. Make a right and enter park and performance stage area.
Gathering time: 10:00am
Parade: 12Noon to 5:00pm
Stage performances: 5:00pm to 9:00pm
Cultural groups, bands, artists, music, dance, food, people, businesses, NGOs, models, fashion show, arts and crafts, vendors, fun for the whole family! Come and celebrate African culture in its richness and diversity.
Come and represent your country, your cultural group, your association, your business, your NGO, your school !Whether you are 50 in your group or just two or three holding your organization’s banner, just come ! Walk, bring music, a car or a float. All are welcome!
Wear your traditional outfits and accessories, bring your musical instruments and noise makers. Have fun!
