Remember the Chowhound discussion about the mystery hot dog place on 125th street? Remember how I thought I had solved the mystery? Actually I did solve the mystery but it wasn’t Frank’s Papaya as I posted, it turned out to be my first guess of Papaya King. In a strange twist of fate, Papaya King is now closed and it is being replaced with Fishers of Men Seafood Restaurant.
If I remember correctly there is/was a Fishers of Men around 130th and 5th Avenue. I’m not sure if they are moving down to 125th or expanding. I believe they are owned by a church but I couldn’t tell you which one. I also found a listing for a location on 116th Street but that information could be outdated.

The food in Fishers of Men is really good and the people who serve it are extremely friendly.
I think the greens are some of the best in the neighborhood.
