ImageNation, St. Mark’s United Methodist Church and Harlem Congregations for Community Improvement , Inc. (HCCI) invite You and your family to celebrate South Africa’s Youth Day, with a FREE screening* of the Academy Award winning film, TSOTSI by Gavin Hood at FAMILY FIRST FRIDAY in St. Mark’s United Methodist Church located at 137th & Edgecombe Ave. in NYC, FRIDAY, JUNE 1st, 6pm.

Followed by a Kwaito Dance Party w/ D.J. Eddie Ed at SHRINE located at 133 & 7th starting at 9pm.

FAMILY FIRST FRIDAY – Friday, June 1st

  • 6:00 p.m. Dinner
  • 6:45 p.m. Film Screening
  • 9:00 p.m. End
  • Location: St. Mark’s United Methodist Church is located at West 137th Street & Edgecombe Avenue
  • Direction by subway: Take the B or C to 135th and use the 137th St. exit.

*Suggested donation is $5.

  • at SHRINE located at 2271 Adam Clayton Powell Blvd (7th Ave) between 133rd – 134th St.
  • FREE to all who attend TSOTSI sceening
  • $5 to everyone else
  • By Subway take B, C, 2 or 3 to 135th St.
