Can I Be Me? is a play written by international journalist Esther Armah and performed by Collette Porteous. It is a story of one woman’s journey to understand the conflict she feels about being African and British. Presented as part of the Museum’s ongoing collaboration with the Harlem-based New Heritage Theatre Group and their Roger Furman Reading Series.
