William over at the Friends of St. Nicholas Park asked me to remind our Harlem friends and neighbors to come out for the first monthly meeting. I spent some time in the park this past weekend and I have to hand it to them, they are doing a great job of making the park more inviting and attractive. Borrowing from the old saying, the park is literally ‘going to the dogs’; the little pooches love the new dog run. I took some pictures that I hope to get uploaded by tomorrow.

The meeting will be at the Harlem Visitor’s and Community Resource Center at 502 West 142nd Street (between Amsterdam Ave. and Hamilton Terrace). The group meets every month on the second Tuesday evening at 7pm.
