With all the talk about the current president visiting Harlem, let’s not forget that a past
president pays rent for an office on 125th Street. Thanks to author A. Lisa Walden, who used to work for President Clinton in his Harlem offices, we will have a constant reminder. A President Works in Harlem “pays tribute to the exceptional work that is produced in New York City by the 42nd President of the United States of America” through his organization the Clinton Foundation.
I happened to stumble upon this book through another blog and recognized the illustrator who is a fabulous collage artist by the name of Chesiel John. Chesiel’s work has been exhibited at the PCOG Gallery on 7th Avenue.

“A President Works in Harlem”? Can we sue the author for fraud? That’s about as valid as James Frey’s book.
For those interested in truth Harlem was a second choice, and orchestrated by Rangel to get Clinton out of a jam he was in at the time with bad PR and his initial and first choice. It was all orchestrated for public consumption.
The better question is how many hours has Clinton actually physically been at his office from Day one?
I’m guessing less than 10 hours. Just another case of someone using Harlem and the brand of Harlem to benefit themselves (this is clearly what it was and has always been – it’s proven so when you examine how many hours he’s been at his office). Heck, Bush used Harlem for himself 2 days ago.
