About Martha J. Thomas: A published writer and a playwright whose work has been produced on Manhattan’s Theater Row, Harlem, Brooklyn, and nationwide. At the time of her death, she was at work on a new play. Her completed plays include “Whatever Gets You Through,” “From Good Stock,” “Benefits,” “Somebody’s Baby,” and “The Winter View.” Ms. Thomas co-authored “Just Do Next Saturday” with Roger Parris and co-produced “The Diva and the Rapper.”
