Cardinal Chased Out of Harlem Church

card-gun3.gifA flustered Edward Cardinal Egan fled through an underground tunnel at an East Harlem church last night to escape the wrath of protesters furious about closures of their parishes. “Egan, Egan, open our church!” screamed some 30 people from the shuttered Our Lady Queen of Angels parish and other churches as he quickly strode past them behind a fence.The confrontation occurred outside the Church of Saint Paul – which is staying open – after Egan said Mass there, and as 40 cops guarded him.Read this rest of this story here.
