MOFONGO TASTES GREAT…THE PRICE OF THE DISHES THOUGH ARE VERY EXPENSIDE. THE PORTIONS YOU GET FOR THE AMOUNT YOU PAY DOES NOT MAKE UP FOR THE PRICE. I PAYED 17.95 FOR A MOFONGO WITH SHRIMP AND GOT 5 SMALL SHRIMP, SMALL SIDE SALAD, AND THE MOFONGO WHICH IS SERVED ON A CONTAINER THAT LOOKS LIKE YOU WILL BE GETTING A GOOD PORTION BUT WILL NOT..IF YOU PLAN TO GO THERE PLAN TO SPEND $$..RESTAURANT IS OVERLY RATED..

hey nat, no disrespect but Mondongo and Mofongo are not the same thing. Mofongo is what the article described…mashed plantains with pork skin,gravy etc. Mondongo is cow intestines(which is also quite good when cooked correctly).btw, albert’s mofongo house is awesome. i’ve eaten there three times. like 20 diff variations on the traditional mofongo.
