Details: The Uptown Music Festival (UMF) 2006 is an inaugural event celebrating the variety of musical styles that make up the rich heritage of New Yorkers, and in particular, Upper Manhattan. Come listen to an array of talent from the jazz, soul, R&B, reggae, salsa, Latin, opera and gospel music genres with the historic Cloisters in Fort Tryon Park as a backdrop.

Details: The HVG Art Show and Sale, scheduled for November (opening reception November 18th) is an annual juried event, showing the work of Northern Manhattan artists from 125th St northward and the Bronx. All media, including craft, except video and performance.
