Leonard Lopate, radio host on WNYC, moderates a discussion of the role women played in the Harlem Renaissance. Farah Jasmine Griffin is a Professor of English and Comparative Literature and African American Studies at Columbia University. Carla Kaplan is a Professor of English and Gender Studies at the University of Southern California. Both women are Fellows at the New York Public Library.
