If you think your landlord is a slumlord then you need to meet the residents of 22 Mount Morris Park West. Their elevator has been broken for the past year and a half resulting in senior citizens on walkers having to cross a rooftop to get to an elevator in a neighboring building for elevator access. Keep in mind that this is the same area that has been selling brownstones and condos for over a million dollars.
The elevator violation is just one of many that the building has received fines for. To make matters worse the fines haven’t been paid and the repairs are not being made.
